An ideal musical partner for beginners and seasoned players alike, the red Casio Casiotone CT-S1 is a stylish portable keyboard that focuses on quality sound (from a stereo grand piano to vintage keyboards and more) and user-friendly playability. It features 61 full-size touch-responsive keys, built-in stereo speakers, and versatile connectivity including an aux input jack, a headphone output, a micro-USB port for hookup to your Mac/Windows computer or iOS/Android mobile device, and a USB Type-A port for use with the separately available WU-BT01 Bluetooth adapter.
The CT-S1 offers onboard effects including reverb, chorus, and delay to enable special sound enhancement, and a one-button song recorder for simple capture of your musical ideas or full performances. Plus, you can download the free Chordana App on your iOS or Android smartphone/tablet to assist you in learning any MIDI file. A music rest and an AC adapter are included, but the keyboard can also run on six AA batteries (available separately) and hang on a strap for truly mobile operation.
61 High-Quality AiX Sounds
The CT-S1’s AiX Sound Source technology accurately reproduces every nuance of 61 acoustic and synthesized instrument sounds. Power-on the CT-S1, and you’ll be presented with a dynamic, expressive German concert grand piano placed in a virtual concert hall. You’ll also find essentials like electric pianos, organs, strings, synths, and more, with Advanced Tones adding complex layers that react to your playing. A collection of vintage keyboard sounds is also included, featuring recreations of timeless, sought-after keyboard instruments. Casio even included classic sounds from their VL, VZ, and CZ series.
Touch-Sensitive Keys for Musical Expressivity
Play the keys heavily and you’ll get louder tones, or play softly to achieve quieter sounds. The touch-sensitive keyboard will accurately reflect every nuance of your playing, making your performances musically expressive.
Fun to Play with Streamlined Operation
Like many of Casio’s Privia and Celviano digital pianos, the CT-S1’s streamlined design features simplified controls that allow you to focus on selecting a tone and practicing or performing without distraction. A convenient metronome button helps you keep time, and an easy one-button recorder lets you capture ideas.
Small Size, Big Sound with Surround
There are three ways to experience the CT-S1’s sound quality at its best. First, the bass-reflex speaker system delivers punch and clarity throughout the entire volume range. Second, plug in a good set of headphones for personal play. Third, turn on Surround, and the sound from the speakers will place you right in the middle of your music.
Shape the Sound of Your Instrument with Onboard Effects
Choose virtual concert venues, layer tones together, add delay and EQ, adjust temperaments, and much more, right from the front panel. There are 24 types of reverb, plus choruses and delays built into the sounds. The function button takes you far beyond the ordinary, and every CT-S1 comes with an easy guide that shows you exactly how to unlock the CT-S1’s full potential.
Connected to Your World
The 3.5mm aux input enables you to connect your phone/tablet or music player and play along with your favorite songs. The micro-USB port connects your CT-S1 to any Mac/Windows computer or iOS/Android device with no drivers or installation needed. With the WU-BT10 Bluetooth MIDI/audio adapter (available separately), you can even connect wirelessly to your favorite devices to control them via MIDI, or use the CT-S1 as a Bluetooth speaker.
