Kodak photo print 4PASS technology

The Kodak Instant Photo Printer uses 4PASS technology. 4PASS is a trade name of sublimation type thermal transfer technology. Using a thermal transfer process (0 to 300°C), yellow, magenta and cyan color dyes are continuously transferred to photo paper, and finally laminated with an overcoat. This is the highest level technology for sublimation type photographic prints.
High-quality, vivid output of 256 levels per color (16.7 million colors in total) is obtained, and colors that are close to the original can be reproduced. 4PASS, which is said to be the leading technology for sublimation type photographic prints, is also used for large size photographic prints such as 4 inch, 6 inch and 10 inch due to its excellent image quality.

Kodak Instant Photo print is an overcoat print finish with an overcoat layer (laminate) at the end of the printing process. The overcoat layer protects your important photos from various damage such as moisture, fingerprints and dirt. In addition, by suppressing the fading of colors, high-quality prints can be stored for a long period of time while still beautiful. A toughness print that is safe even when wet with water.

Paper and ink in one cartridge! Seal type too!

Cartridge for Kodak Instant Photo Printer. Since the photo paper and the ink ribbon are contained in one cartridge, you can replace the paper and ink at once by simply replacing the cartridge. One cartridge contains 10 sheets of paper. You can replace the cartridge with sticker type paper on the way.
